How long is it going to reset itself?

So I have Lenovo laptop. I have had it for a year. Ever since I changed my windows to windows 10 it wasnt good and it was lagging. So I decided to return my laptop to factory settings. And I have choosen the one which cleans everything and it said it could last for sveral hours until its done. But since I pressed that the screen said restarting. And it went black but the laptop was still working. Since then almost 24 hours passed and its still working with the black screen. What should I do? Is it normal?
