Trying to pick a good laptop?
Hey all, I'm trying to find a new laptop, upgrading from my old Walmart display model Toshiba Satellite C655.
I will mainly be using the laptop for office work, casual gaming, audio work, and browsing. I'm a college student and army field medic.
After doing a lot of research, my criteria seems to be a 13"-15" screen, core i5 or better, 5-7 hour battery life (4 is the minimum), a decent graphics cards, I like Intel iris 5000 and above, something that can play games on moderate settings, 1080p resolution (not needed though), 8gb ram minimum, and 250gb storage minimum. I prefer either SSD, or a HDD/SSD hybrid.
I do not want touch screens or 2 in 1 designs. I have a budget of around $1000. I like the idea of a refurbished Macbook pro, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, and the Asus Zenbook UX305LA-AB51. Reliability is very important! Thanks for any help.
