Good laptop for video editing?

I love to make Vine edits and YouTube edits but my laptop now always freezes when I finish or while I'm in the middle of editing. I use Movie Maker to merge my clips together or transition them. I need to know a good laptop with a GREAT editing software for videos and photos. My price range is about to $400. (My Dell laptop has only lasted for about a year, so I'm really just looking for a Toshiba or Lenovo laptop). Thanks!
