Why won t my USB cables fit in to any of the USB ports on my laptop?

The laptop I have is a brand new 2015 Lenovo laptop fresh out of the box. I have tried 3 different USB cables and none of them will fit inside the 3 USB ports that are in the laptop. I have tried flipping the cables, putting it into all different angles but it will not fit. I have tried ever single port on the laptop and still none of the cables fit inside. When I try to plug in the cables into other laptops it works just fine. I know it s not the angles I m putting it, and the USB cables are not broken. I think there might be something wrong with the ports in the laptop itself. Maybe just defective? I called costumer service and they didn t help. Any ideas on what is wrong here?
