What 2015/16 laptop should I get in the $2000 range?

I'm looking for a great laptop PC from either HP, DELL, or APPLE. It will be used for web browsing, music and so forth. I plan on keeping it for years and years to come so it has to be built extremely well. What would you get in $2000 range?
