Ways to quit lagging/having high ms?

In a game called League of Legends, I'd like to record and upload videos to Youtube. But, the background camera applications make me lag and I can barely play. Vertical sync and anti-aliasing is off too. I don't have a laptop for gaming(I have a Lenovo). Anyway to stop lagging but record successfully?
