Never had a gaming laptop before, what kind should I get?
So my current computer is 5-6years old and lags a lot whenever I try to play any games. I've been researching some on the various gaming computers and I was wondering - for a non-hardcore gamer, what kind of computer should i get? By which I mean I play some steam games (RWBY Grimm Eclipse), some blizzard(Hearthstone), and then regular comptuer games - like sims…
From researching I think I was one with the NVIDIA 960/965/970 for graphics, and then also looking for one with a Intel Core i7. Hard drive doesn't matter too much, it would be nice to have a SSD/HDD combo, but not super picky. Screen size probably the 15.6, but again I'm not picky.
I'd like to keep the price less than $1000 if possible! I've looked at the Lenovo IdeaPad Y700, various MSI ones and various Asus ones, but I'm not sure which would be the best/lowest price.
And I guess also what I'm wondering is, since I'm not a big gamer - I don't do LoL, or any of the shooting games n whatnot, do I need the higher levels of graphics cards, memory n such.
Added (1). oh also for me sound is important/I love music, I would like one with goodish-speakers
