How to install drivers for my amd graphics cards?

I just got this lenovo y700 and when i went to the graphics cards properties it said no drivers were installed. So i went to AMD's website and downloaded the automatic drier detector and when i went to start it; it installed for about 30 seconds and then about halfway through my screen just went blank. I waited a good 30 minutes to see if it would come back on as i just assumed it was part of the driver installation but it never did. I tried several times and it always did this. I tried uninstalling the drivers completely and doing it all over again and it still does the same thing. WHAT IS HAPPENINGGGGGG UGH
