Laptop stuck in hibernation mode?

I have a Lenovo u310 ideapad that the screen won t start up. The fan runs and the lights turn on but nothing else. (I think it s stuck in hibernation mode) ive tried unplugging it and letting it run out of battery the restarting it but that didn t work. It s a newer laptop so I can t just pop the batery out like older models. Any ideas?
