My laptop won't boot up properly?

I turn it on, and it goes to a blue screen with a big:( face and says it has failed to start up properly and needs to repair. It then restarts and says it's preparing automatic repair. Then it says it's diagnosing. Then it ogre to another blue screen 'PC did not restart correctly, restart or press advanced options'. I have restarted it many times, is there a way to fix this without a separate disk or anything, maybe by using command prompts? Thanks 😰
It's a lenovo laptop Y50-70 with windows 8.
