Lenovo y70 touch laptop freezing while game play?

Now I ve had this problem since the laptop came and i ve found multiple people with the same problem. The game (which is every game i play) freezes for like a second every 10-20 seconds and it can become quite frustrating. Now they said its the 1TB hdd with 8 gb ssd which is a sshd. They say it is sending cache between each other causing the pause in the game or program you are using. A program called quiethdd muffles some of the pausing as well but still does it. Now if I were to swap out the sshd with this ssd http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RQA6M5Y/ref=psdc_1292116011_t2_B00FXJWO5C? would it fix the annoying pausing in all my games.

Intel i5 4210h 2.8 ghz dual core
Nvidia GTX 860m with 2gb video memory
8 gb ram at 1600 mhz
