How to connect x32 turtle beach headset to a laptop using headset jack?

I am looking at getting a new computer than I can play video games decently on but the two that I am looking at (Lenovo Y40 or the Lenovo ThinkPad T450) only have a headphone/mic jack. I am getting very frustrated on how to connect my X32 turtle beach headphones to a newer laptop because the adapter requires you to connect one cable into a headphone jack and one into a microphone (due to wanting to be able to chat as well) Also, wondering if I wouldn't even need to get a new cable and just use the cables that come with the headphones? Please Help!
