Lenovo laptop says that i cant access internet because of side by side configuration?

my laptop will let me access everything but when i try to access the web by chrome or any other way it saysthe application has failed because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe toll for more details. Help what do i do i dont undersatnd what that means. It also says that i am missing an extend player for my important documents please help
