Laptop won't turn on at all?

A few days ago my Lenovo G50 laptop charger broke. I bought a replacement charger online, when I plugged in the replacement charger for the first time and as soon as I did it powered off and won't turn on no matter if I take the battery out, if I unplug the charger or anything it won't turn on. (My computer had a 80% charge at the time)
