I purchased Lenovo G500s laptop 2 months back and I use Windows 8.
Today my laptop was charged to 99% and then I ran it on battery, brightness around half the bar that we see when we change the setting.
Battery setting I'm using is:
Power Plan - Balanced
Battery - Max Battery Life
Hard Disk Power Saver - On
I removed the laptop from charging at 3:24pm and at 4:10pm it shows 1hr 13 min, 55% remaining.
I was using Firefox to check my mails and anti-virus software doing system scan.
I've not worked much on any laptop so have no idea if the battery going down so soon is normal or not. Please help me out.
