USB Port Overload - Mouse not working?

I have a Lenovo Y-700 and I've had it for about a year, recently I got an error saying a port was overloaded and my mouse stopped working and it hasn't been working since, it's even weirder since the ports are all perfectly functional except when I plug in my mouse, it's not even being detected or anything.
