Should I get a gaming laptop?

So I am wondering if it is worth It to get a gaming laptop and use steam. I currently have a ps4 and love it. I just don't know if I should get one. I am 15 so I don't have that much money, probably the most I could get is around 600 dollars. Is there any gaming laptop that is worth getting that is that much and is it worth getting if I have a ps4. I just like the idea of the portability and being able to get other games that aren't on the ps4 and I like the controls better. I don't know anything about computers and what different things do, so just tell me what the advantages and disadvantages of it are and if it worth spending all my money for one
