My lenovo laptop wont boot up?

I accidently spilt water over my laptop and obviously my insurance doesn t cover water damage so the option of speaking to lenovo was slim if not crossed out. I ve already taken the battery out and unplugged it and yet still it wouldn t turn on. Then I left it to dry and attemptied to power it on and the light would come up on the power button and my laptop was charging but it wouldn t boot up neither would the fan boot
