Laptop broken parts good. Can I build a desktop with my laptop parts?

My laptop is pretty good inside outside not so much… It doesn t charge and somehow a screw got missing I can t charge it and it s battery is damaged holding a hour battery life so I wanted to know if I can open the laptop take everything out and build a desktop with the parts is It possible? It s a Lenovo s400 (maybe not the best but I like it)
