Calling all laptop geniuses?!

So I want to get a nice laptop or PC for my school work. I need a fast laptop that can run all molding programs and graphic design programs and video games for when I need to take a break at home. I don't really have a price range but $800-$1000 wouldn't be too expensive for me.
