Will Sims 4 work on my Windows 10 Lenovo 305-15iby Ideapad 15.6 Inch 8GB 1TB Laptop?

I ve bought sims 4 at the store but the man at the till said not to open it unless you know it will work on your PC, I have a Windows 10 Lenovo 305-15iby Ideapad 15.6 Inch 8GB 1TB Laptop and I don t want my £45 to go to waste! Please help!
