How to get virus off of my computer?

i dont know the exact name of it but my microsoft lenovo g50 laptop has a message on my screen. I tried to go on a website that i guess gives viruses and this page came up and it says my microsoft computer has been blocked. It has a blue ok button and when i try to press it nothing happens. It stays on the page. I need to get out of the page without having to call microsoft.
