Can't get new SSD to recognize in computer?

Can't get new SSD to recognize in computer?
Added (1). I just bought a Crucial mx200 500gb ssd M.2 Type 2280 and I can not get it to register on my computer so I can clone my original hard drive to this one. I have a lenovo yoga 2 13 For some reason it only recognizes it as a mass removable media storage device and thats it. Dis management recognizes it but I don't have to option to format it. I tried to boot from BIOS to see if it was recognized there but no luck either. Any ideas?
