I have lenovo g500 (59-370339) with 3rd Gen Ci5, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 2GB AMD radeon HD 8570. I wish to upgrade my RAM to 8 GBs i.e. I want to add 4 gb ram to my existing ram. The problem is, somewhere I read that adding ram to this laptop caused intense heating problems to the laptop. Though many pointed fault in the person's laptop. I want to know-:
1.) What would happen if I add 4 gb ram to my laptop? Will it cause any problems?
2.) I am upgrading it for gaming purpose, only. Heavy games like COD: Advanced warfare require 8 GBs of ram. So in order to play them I need more RAM.
3.) Will it work if I only upgrade my ram? I mean, my graphics card model isn't so good/high. Will adding ram alone to my laptop play the heavy games with my current GPU?
4.) In total, is it worth? If so, then what company I should go for?
