I recently sold my gaming desktop (probably a bad idea, but whats done is done!) For a more portable option (college and travel). I want a laptop that I can do some mid level gaming on thats under $1,000. I have been looking at the lenovo y50 but its a tad over my price range and I dont know if i can justify paying $1,100 on a laptop that may rapidly depreciate in value. Is it worth it? Are gaming laptops in genaral a bad idea? Am I better off with a $300 laptop and (forgive me for my sins but…) A console? Im just torn on what I should do. Afterthought: $1,000 is a lot of money as i am only 18. So take that into account as well)
